Pressure-Tight and Efficient even under Load

As in all modern drainage systems, the drainage capacity of DELTA dimpled sheeting is affected by the pressure at the place of use. Under pressure, all drainage materials are subjected to compression to a greater or lesser extent. For example, DELTA-MS 20 is compressed by approximately 5% when subjected to a pressure of 100kN/m2 (diagram 1).

Using the diagrams the water drainage capacity for the relevant pressure loading can be easily calculated. The pressure loadings to be expected when using dimpled sheeting result on the one hand from the earth pressure, which continuously affects the structure depending on its depth, and on the other hand from the pressure of the fresh concrete, which is mainly determined by the consistency of the concrete and the rise speed when pouring the concrete.
