Delta Sump + Pump
Pumping Station for Collection of Groundwater

OVERVIEW
INSTALLATION
BATTERY BACK-UP

The Delta® Sump is designed to collect groundwater from a cavity drainage membrane system.

There are no specialist tools or skills required to install the Delta Sump and all relevant adaptors are supplied.

Delta Sump
Groundwater enters via the drained cavity of the membrane system and collects through the top opening of the Delta Sump®.
The water is then pumped by a float activated submersible pump to mains drainage or other suitable outlet.

To enhance the reliability of this system, various accessories are available including high level alarms, battery back-up systems and non return valves.

A full range of installation and maintenance instructions are supplied with each. Delta Sump®

This is backed up by technical support staff who can advise you on selection and installation.

The System has been designed with ease of installation in mind.

The Delta® Sump is delivered to site with all internal pipe work pre-installed. Only a simple screw on fitting is necessary to connect the pump.

The unit is lowered into the excavation and all pipe work and cable duct connections are made. The pump station is filled with water to prevent flotation then backfilled with 100mm concrete around the sump to form part of the floor slab. An access cover is set over the sump for maintenance purposes.

Discharge pipe work and cable ducts can be installed in either Heliflex armoured hose, 32mm solvent welded drainage pipe or class 'C discharge pipe work. All the necessary adaptors can be supplied to facilitate these pipework types.

It is recommended the pump power cable (and high level alarm if used) is wired to a non switched fused spur.

ACCESSORIES
OPTIONAL - HIGH LEVEL ALARM

This system will warn if a high level situation occurs. It is supplied with a rechargeable battery so the alarm will still sound in the case of mains power failure. An optional remote alarm can befitted if required.

The Delta Power Pack ® been designed to run the pump in the event of mains powerfailure.

Delta Power Pack

The back-up unit is continually being trickle charged under normal conditions. Once mains power has failed, the unit will automatically switch over to battery power to enable the pump to run when required, e.g. high water ingress being coincident with a power cut. The power pack will pump approx. 8,100 litres on back up.

Delta Power Plus

Delta Power Plus
If greater back-up capacity is required, this can be upgraded by adding Delta® Power Plus units. Up to ten units can be added. One extra unit will pump approx. 24,300 litres.
