David joined Delta’s board of Directors in 2012.
I entered the Construction Industry after leaving School, initially as a Damp Proofing and Timber Treatment Technician working with a small family concern in Northampton where I served my apprenticeship while attending College on a day release basis to study Carpentry and Joinery at Nene College.
Shortly after commencing my employment I was taken under the wing of the Managing Director where I acquired new skills and specialised in historical buildings, and the rest they say, is history.

I joined Delta in August 2017 and can honestly say that has proven to be a good move.
I am now into my 3rd decade of the industry and have overseen waterproofing specifications on many high end projects, several of which will forever be in amongst my favourite ones, such as Britain’s largest 3 storey deep domestic basement, (which covers 1 Hectare), as well as a tricky 3 and 5 storey deep/co-joined linked commercial one and countless others,
I am fortunate to be extensively experienced/qualified in types A, B & C structural waterproofing designs and systems with BS8102:2009 firmly in mind and I am a long-time holder of the CSSW qualification.
I have given hundreds of CPD seminars on my beloved subject, as well as practical training and technical assistance. I am extremely proud to sit in on technical panels for the Property Care Association (PCA) for which I am an oral examiner for the industry recognised CSSW qualification exam syllabus. As well as, The Basement Information Centre (TBIC) and ASUC (Association of Structural Underpinning Companies).
I have authored 7 articles for “Concrete magazine” to date, which is circulated globally, regarding various applications such as watertight concrete and ICF structural waterproofing, concrete repairs, the importance of using CSSW qualified advisors and others.
