Is Waterproofing just for the boys? The simple answer is no. Women make up around 14% of construction professionals within the United Kingdom and this number is set to rise more and more, as women are choosing jobs within the industry.
37% of new entrants into the construction industry are women, proving that this industry is quickly becoming one for the girls, as well as the boys! Women are looking for a rewarding, challenging careers and are finding one in the construction sector.
In recognising Diversity within the Construction Industry, Delta Membrane Systems Limited is fully supportive in sponsoring the first ever Women of Waterproofing ‘WoW’ Networking Group.
Women of Waterproofing ‘WoW’ Networking Luncheon is a brand-new lunch time networkingopportunity for Women in the Waterproofing Industry.
The Women of Waterproofing Networking Group are focused on developing and encouraging more women into waterproofing sector and for a greater acceptance of us (females) in a male dominated industry.
It’s an opportunity to meet some like-minded ladies and build a strong business network. We are an independent, fun, friendly and fabulous ladies networking group hoping to provide a welcoming environment for women of the waterproofing sector to meet and network. The aim of our meetings is relaxed, informal and varied.
